Biddy Tarot and Labyrinthos side by side: what is free, whether you must sign up, and what each does best.
Biddy Tarot
8.4Biddy Tarot: a free card draw and clear meanings, but it won't read your question.
- Cost
- Free + paid extras
- Without paying
- You get the one-card draw and every card meaning for free without signing up; paid courses and the community are separate.
- Sign-up
- No sign-up for the draw or card meanings; free guides ask for your email.
- Best for
- People learning tarot or checking a card from their own deck
What we like
- Clear, plain writing on every card's meaning
- Instant draw with no sign-up
- A strong learning path if you want to go deep
- Useful even if you read with your own deck
Watch out for
- The draw doesn't interpret several cards or your specific question
- Plenty of promotion for courses and decks throughout
- No prices on the shop page we read
Labyrinthos
7.7A tarot school, shop and app in one — we read the free card pages and the app's introduction.
- Cost
- Free + paid extras
- Without paying
- You can read every card meaning page and browse the shop without an account; lessons, readings and the journal need a free sign-up.
- Sign-up
- Free account for the app and web app; none for the card meanings
- Best for
- Beginners who want to learn tarot step by step, especially on a phone
What we like
- Keyword-first card pages that are easy to scan
- A proper learning path with lessons
- Card pages compare one card across decks
- Attractive decks in the shop
Watch out for
- We could only review the public pages, not the app
- App pricing was hard to find on the web
- Pages carry ads and shop promotion
